 Terry Barczak

Terry Barczak has been a street photographer for many years. Out in
the world\, on the street is where she feels most inspired\, engaged\,
and creative\; it is where she uncovers ideas\, find the pieces and
make connections. Her projects range from portraits of people and
  cities to investigations into religion\, landscapes\, and a long-range
series that discovers the surreal in the everyday.

Barczak has had several solo shows in Minnesota and numerous group
exhibitions across the United States. In addition to photography\, she
has collaborated with filmmaker and writer Shelli Ainsworth on short
and feature films and worked in the photography department at Walker
  Art Center in Minneapolis.

 About Vision(ary)

American narrative.Photography has been central to this
  history--documenting resistance\, amplifying voices\, and creating
images that define collective memory. In the light of America's 250th
  anniversary\, this year's edition\, Raising Our Voices\, presents
photographic projects that focus on advocacy\, social justice\, and
activism within the United States--past or present.Vision(ary) is
