 ABOUTNEPR

Since 2009 the Griffin Museum of Photography has created a gathering
space bringing reviewers and photographers together from New England
and beyond for two days of discussion\, networking\, and gaining fresh
  perspective on one's work.

NEPR serves photographers who are just embarking on their careers\,
and more established photographers\, all hoping to reach new audiences
and gain fresh perspective on their work.

The online format allows for an expansion of participants in volume
and in location including reviewers such as gallerists\, book
  publishers\, museum professionals\, critics\, educators and advisors
from all over the world who provide guidance and potential
  opportunities to grow artist practices.

 ARTIST INDEX

The 2026 NEPR Artist Index is a compendium of the participating
artists from across the country along with the six scholarship
students from around New England. It will be available to everyone for
download after registration.Discover Last Year's Artist in the 2025

 From gallerists\, publishers\, independent consultants\, nonprofit
leaders\, museum professionals\, and curators\, we convened an
exceptional network of reviewers dedicated to supporting artists\,
fostering meaningful dialogue\, and advancing the future of
  photographic practice.

Through our New England Portfolio Review Programs\, we brought
together more than 70 photographic artists and some of the most
influential voices in the photographic and adjacent
  industries--sparking critical dialogue\, cultivating lasting
  professional relationships\, and championing the growth\, visibility\,
and future of contemporary photographic practice in New England and
  beyond.

 KEYNOTE SPEAKER

Tabitha Soren explores the expansive power of photography by pushing
its material limits and embracing its unreliable nature. She probes
the surface of the photograph to unlock the rich history of the medium
and experiments with sculptural and painterly interventions to further
complicate the inherent uncertainty of the picture. This layered
approach underscores not only the bounds of the viewer's perception
but also makes visible the psychological states of Soren's subject
matter\, creating a tension between what is seen and what lies
  underneath.Website | Instagram
