Community Connect Day is your chance to engage with the local organizations that make our town such a vibrant and welcoming place to live.  Cultural, sports, and service groups, government agencies, faith communities, and more, will have representatives there happy to explain what they do.

Whether you’re looking for community events, and volunteer opportunities, or just want to learn more about resources for your family, this is the perfect occasion!

Come, be part of this annual event, and bring your friends and family!

Digital well-being: How can we help kids navigate a world where everything is shared and compared?

With social media and constant connection, the boundaries of privacy for children are stretched thin.

Join us as Dr. Devorah Heitner, author of Growing Up in Public: Coming of Age in a Digital World, shares her insights on how to help tweens and teens navigate boundaries, identity, privacy, and reputation in their digital world.

You will learn:
How to help your kids be authentic when everything can be shared and compared.
How to help kids / teens find balance between active and tech time.
Why mentorship is better than just monitoring.
There will be a Q&A following the presentation.

En Ka Fair

Second day of a two-day event!

In May, 1935 the En Ka Society held its first street fair. It was a novelty to Winchester and was a huge success, attracting thousands. It has grown from a single ride and a few games into a much anticipated occasion. Generations of families in Winchester and surrounding communities have attended and continue to support tradition.

Continuing to this day, the En Ka Fair marks the beginning of summer for many citizens, old and young alike. We hope you will join us in May for this fun-filled event!
