Winchester Housing Coalition presents info on Question 7, offers Volunteer Opportunities

The Winchester Housing Coalition is seeking 3-5 residents for a steering committee to help drive our mission: to create organized, sustained, and broad community support for diversified and affordable housing in Winchester.

Two Town bodies - the Affordable Housing Trust and the Housing Partnership Board - also need new members!

Whether you're new to Winchester or a long-time resident, curious and concerned about housing affordability or well-versed in housing advocacy, your voice is needed.

Curious? Thinking about it but have questions? Come to an info session on Thursday, October 29, from 7-8 PM in the Large Meeting Room of the Winchester Public LIbrary.

The meeting features guest speaker Montell Khaldi, the Eastern MA Regional Organizer for Abundant Housing Massachusetts (AHMA), who will answer questions about Question 7, the "Legalize Starter Homes" initiative on the Nov. 3 ballot.
