Senior District / All-State Audition Workshop

Registration deadline: October 27. This workshop is for high school students trying out for the MMEA Senior District and All-State Festivals. The workshop will provide a wealth of information about the audition process including how to prepare, manage nerves, and develop presentation skills. Students will perform for adjudicators and receive constructive feedback on their solos, scales, and sight-reading. Open to all instrumentalists and singers; you do not have to be a WCMS student to participate. $30 per participant; register by October 27. Held at Winchester Community Music School, 407

It's Arthur Griffin's Birthday on Saturday September 13th, and there is no better way to celebrate his legacy thank with a gathering of our members engaging in a dialogue about the creativity and craft of photography.

Join us Saturday September 13th from 9.30am-12pm for our round table peer-run portfolio critique group. Engage with 8 other Griffin members to network, socialize, and provide one another feedback on your portfolios. We'll provide coffee and light refreshments. See you there!

This evening is all about you, our members, whose passion and support make everything we do possible. Our Members Mingle is about connecting with fellow photography enthusiasts, sharing your inspiration, and participating in the vibrant energy that makes the Griffin Museum such a special place. September Online Artist Talk | Annual Photobook Exhibition

The Griffin Museum is pleased to host an online artist talk celebrating the art of photobook making in conversation with our 15th Annual Photobook Exhibition. Join us in the Griffin Zoom Room from 7 to 8:30pm to hear from artists Diane Hemingway, Leah Abrahams and Ruth Broyde Sharone, William Harting, Greg DeLory, Mary Magsamen and Stephan Hillerbrand, Michael Seif, and Victoria Crayhon.

Sew Your Own Heart Magnet

A beginning sewing activity with a real needle and thread. Kids in grades 1-4 will be able to practice sewing or try it for the first time . We'll turn felt into a heart magnet for your fridge or to give a friend. Registration required. Questions? Call 781.

Sew Your Own Pet

What kind of pet will you choose? Cat? Rabbit? Dragon?! Kids in grades K-3 join us for a simple sewing project to learn to sew and design your unique pet or creature. There will be a choice of plastic needles or real needles depending on the child's comfort level.

Shake Rattle and Read

Kids ages 2 and 3 join us for a musical storytime! We'll make music with some fun instruments, and read some rockin' good books too! No registration required!Questions?
