Join Mandy (Wicked Good Henna) for a night of storytelling and, of course, henna. Mandy will share stories and photos from her 2023 trip to Morocco to study under the masters there. After the presentation, each participant will get a henna design in the Moroccan style.

Join us for a special cinematic experience! We will take you back to the time when superstition, folklore, and a belief in talismans were integrated into the daily lives of the Yiddish-speaking population of eastern Europe. Come to the screening of this 1937 classic movie that tells the story of a young bride who is possessed by a dybbuk - the spirit of her dead husband's dislocated soul.

Our final concert in the series is scheduled for SATURDAY (not our usual Friday concert night), May 10th, and features fiddler Cynthia MacLeod and guitarist, Gordon Belsher, both from Prince Edward Island.

Music MAYnia is a free community festival that features continuous live performances, instrument demos, games, arts & crafts, food trucks, and more!
