Join author Romie Stott for a reading from her first novel Nothing in the Basement , followed by a Q&A. Copies of the novel will be available for purchase and signing courtesy of Book Ends. Registration is appreciated but not required. This interactive 90-minute session is for anyone who wants to learn how to create their own music using only an iPad and the Garage Band app. Composer, producer, and music technology expert Dr. Andrea Pejrolo will guide participants through how to:
•Set up a mobile production studio and choose the best software & equipment
•Sketch out your musical ideas and bring them to fruition
•Create a final, professional-sounding mix
