The Winchester Cultural Council and the Winchester Artists Network invite you to a gala reception to celebrate the opening of Art in August 2025.

Come meet the artists who are exhibiting throughout August in locations throughout the town, the merchants who generously donate space in their shops and windows, state and town leaders, Winchester Cultural Council members and local grant recipients, and others from our community.

Wine and light appetizers served. All are invited, free admission.
 

Art in the Park is a family-friendly public art activity including hands-on opportunities, demonstrations, and exhibitions of art that takes place during the Winchester Farmers' Market. A number of local artists will run activities to show their creative process and in some cases to let people try making their own. Artists all also be able to sell their artwork. There will be something for everyone!

Art in the Park is a public outdoor art activity free and open to the public, with demonstrations, participatory art, and exhibition and sale of works by local artists. The event is held on the Winchester Common on Saturday, August 16, from 9:30 am to 1:30 pm, in conjunction with the weekly Farmers' Market. It is a highlight of the month-long Art in August festival.

The Griffin Museum is excited to host a reception celebrating our presentation of the traveling exhibition, A Yellow Rose Project.

Join us in person at the Griffin Museum in Winchester to celebrate all the amazing work from over 100 artists in this exhibition.

This event is FREE and open to the public.

Created by Frances Jakubek and Meg Griffiths, A Yellow Rose Project is a photographic collaboration of responses, reflections, and reactions to the 19th Amendment from over one hundred women across the United States.

The Griffin is excited to celebrate the work of artists from Photography Atelier 39 and Francisco Gonlazez Camacho for his solo exhibition, Reverting. Both on view from August 21st to September 28th, 2025.
