Voice Department Honors Concert

Join us for a special concert of students from the voice department at WCMS. This select group of students has been chosen by their teachers to perform in a celebratory recital to recognize their dedication to musical study and accomplishments throughout the year. It's an inspirational concert for family, friends, & community members to attend and cheer on these talented students!

Walking in Beauty through Difficult Times: A Talk by Diné Elder Lupita McClanahan

Hozho, or The Beauty Way, is a core practice of the Diné people. Raised in secrecy by traditional elders in Canyon de Chelly, Lupita was hidden to preserve her family's lineage from the boarding school system. Though eventually taken, she drew on her cultural strength to endure and overcome unimaginable challenges.

Warm the Winter's Night with Irish Harpist/ Singer Aine Minogue

Join us as we welcome back Aine Minogue to celebrate the joys of the winter season. Aine voice reflects the lyricism and richness to be found in Irish music, mythology and poetry with a voice undeniably her own and a diverse group of instruments that add to the traditional flavor of her work. She has entertained former Irish Presidents and Prime Ministers, and is a regular performer at folk festivals and concerts throughout the United States. Aine has done extensive research into Irish and Celtic winter traditions and has unearthed some unusual and haunting selections from Scotland, Wales
