Titania's Fairy Ball

Embrace your inner fairy and join us for Titania's Fairy Ball! ​Ballet Arts Centre of Winchester invites you to join Titania, Queen of the Fairies, and deck out in your favorite sparkling tiaras, magical wings, and ethereal fashions! Ticket includes dancing, refreshments, crafts, photo corner, and a special ballet performance by Titania’s Fairies! Each Dancer will also take home a special fairy gift as a keepsake. Open to all Dancers and Friends ages 3.5 to 7 on Saturday, March 2nd at 3:00 p.m. at BAC Studios, 50 Cross Street, Winchester MA. One ticket admits one child with one grown-up.

Transition to Kindergarten Panel and Resource Fair

Join us for this interactive panel for parents and guardians to learn about the non-academic aspects of transitioning to kindergarten. Prior to the panel, visit the Community Resource Fair to learn about after-school opportunities for your school age child.

Panelists include Superintendent of Schools Dr. Frank Hackett, School Nurse, Kindergarten Teacher, School Psychologist and Elementary School Principals.

The Community Resource Fair includes parent representatives from all five elementary schools, enrichment opportunities and after-school care.

Join us for an evening with Meredith Shaw and Ali Calnan from Melrose Alliance
Against Violence (MAAV) where we will talk about how to help our young people develop crucial skills to build healthy, respectful, trusted relationships.

This workshop explores what tools kids need to build and sustain healthy relationships and how parents/caregivers can support them. We'll touch on healthy/unhealthy relationship signs, wave of abuse, online dating, talking
with your child about healthy relationships and helping them support a friend.

WFEE Town Day Road Race

Lace up your sneakers and kick off Winchester’s annual community celebration with a 2.5 or 5 mile walk or run. Run as an individual or get the whole family involved, strollers are welcome. The race starts and ends at the Griffin Museum (67 Shore Rd) and travels through town. All proceeds from the race go to fund innovative education in Winchester’s public schools.

What if I Say the Wrong Thing? How to Respond to Grieving Kids and Teens

When a child or teen experiences a loss, we are often unsure what to say or do, especially since grief manifests differently depending on the child's developmental stage.

Join us for an interactive session with grief experts from The Children's Room and learn how grief shows up for kids and teens.
This virtual program will offer practical tips and tools about what to say/do and how to help when someone has experienced a loss.

The program will include an extended Q&A with participants.
